Morning on the Sacramento River

Jack in the Sunrise

What a sunrise we had this morning! It was all the usual suspects at the Friday Morning River Paddle.

Sunrise

The gang hit the water at 7:AM this morning in a lovely 28 degree mist coming off the river. We paddled up the Sacramento River from Redding toward Keswick and kept getting stopped by beautiful sights, animals and fun surfing holes to play in.

The Bald Eagle we came across was feasting on a huge carcass of a Salmon and he didn’t care to move an inch.

I just love the morning paddles!
