Boys just want to have fun.
Ben Lawry came to Redding this week for a visit, and we got to have some fun on the river while he was here.
Thursday night Ben gave the Penguin Paddlers Club a slide presentation on the incredible “Dusi” race in South Africa and enthralled everyone with sights we have never seen before.
Friday morning Ben came out to our Morning Up-River paddle and showed everyone his power and grace. We all had a great time and enjoyed watching Ben Back-Surf and put the little Capella through it’s paces.
Garth has found another new friend and it was refreshing to talk about our sport, industry, design and future with a like-minded paddler.
