How did you start paddling?
I went to Bellingham, Washington for a Junior A hockey tryout with the Bellingham Icehawks. I went on a day paddle and have been hooked ever since.

There are too many places to pick just one.
Where do you work?
I was a sea kayak guide for many years, but I've traded it in to become a police officer.
What meal do you cook the best?
GORP
What other sports do you do?
Marathon running, ultramarathon running, ice hockey, fly fishing, telemark skiing, nordic ski racing, SCUBA diving and free-diving.
What qualifications do you hold?
I'm a BCU 4* paddler and Coach II. I have Red Cross Lifeguard and Professional Rescuer CPR/First Aid certifications. I am also a card carrying member of the Kelly Blades Fawn Club. Like a fan club, but we just hang around and FAWN all over Kelly.
